Policies for Upgrading Aging Urban Gas Pipelines

Following a further review of local experience in advancing the upgrading and renovation of aging urban gas pipelines, the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development has compiled the "Second Batch of Replicable Policies and Mechanisms for the Upgrading and Renovation of Urban Gas Pipelines," which is hereby issued for study and implementation in line with local conditions.
The document brings together practices from across China on topics including pipeline inspection and renovation implementation, construction organization, supervision, smart gas platform construction, maintenance team development, funding mechanisms, project approval and pricing, and technical standards and market governance.
