Hitelecom Launches an Ultra-Low-Power Temperature Sensor

In May 2023, Hitelecom launched an ultra-low-power temperature sensor. It is designed for agricultural monitoring, food storage and transport, healthcare storage, industrial monitoring, energy management, and environmental applications.

This temperature sensor features an ultra-low-power design and is designed for more than 10 years of battery life at a one-hour reporting interval (actual battery life varies with network conditions, temperature, configuration, and reporting frequency). It supports 4G, LoRa, and NB-IoT connectivity for reliable data transmission in complex environments. The sensor works with the Hitelecom App and Hitelecom Cloud, allowing users to monitor temperatures remotely in real time and access data analytics.


In agricultural monitoring, this sensor enables farmers to monitor temperature conditions inside and outside greenhouses in real time, supporting high-quality, efficient crop growth. It monitors the temperature of food during transportation and storage, supporting the temperature-control records that food quality management relies on. In healthcare, the sensor is used to monitor the storage temperature of medicines and vaccines, helping identify temperature excursions that can affect safety and efficacy. Furthermore, in industrial monitoring, energy management, and environmental surveillance, it demonstrates vast application potential by monitoring temperature changes in equipment, facilities, and the environment, allowing for the early detection and warning of potential safety hazards.
