Hitelecom has launched an ultra-low-power soil sensor for precision agriculture and environmental monitoring.
In 2023, as IoT technologies continue to drive intelligent upgrades across industries, Hitelecom announced the launch of its latest product: a wireless soil sensor. It is designed for precision agriculture, digital farming, smart irrigation, environmental monitoring and protection, and horticulture and landscape management.
Hitelecom's new soil sensor uses an ultra-low-power design and is designed for more than 10 years of battery life at a one-hour reporting interval (actual battery life varies with network conditions, temperature, configuration, and reporting frequency), reducing maintenance effort in outdoor deployments. The sensor supports 4G, LoRa, and NB-IoT connectivity for reliable data transmission, and with the Hitelecom App and Hitelecom Cloud, users can access, monitor, and analyze soil data in real time to support more informed management decisions.
